Top Ten Ways to Revamp your Kitchen

If you don't have the budget or means to fully renovate your kitchen, luckily there are still ways to revamp your kitchen..without breaking the bank. Here are my top ten ways to revamp your kitchen.

  1. Paint the furniture. This is a fairly simple way to revamp your kitchen: paint the furniture. Cabinets are the most visible elements of the room, so by painting them you add an instant facelift to the room.

  2. Add or replace the backsplash. This is another very visible element of the room. This will rework the overall aesthetic of your kitchen. You also have the option of painting your backsplash as well with a washable paint.

  3. Replace faucet. This is one of my favorite ways to revamp a kitchen space. By replacing the faucet, you can change the overall look and feel of your space. Faucets can help you make a kitchen more attractive. By choosing a bold finish, you can make it even more stylish!

  4. Replace sink. This goes hand in hand with replacing the faucet. Such a simple and essential item becomes key in the focal point of the room. I am always inspired by the timeless designs that can add a classic look to any kitchen, without breaking the bank.

  5. Replace light fixtures. One of the quickest ways to revamp your kitchen is by starting from the top down. Changing light fixtures can have an incredible impact on your kitchen. With a more or less soft lighting, you’ll create changes not only in terms of decoration, but also the atmosphere.

  6. Change knobs. This is another effective and economical way to update any kitchen. You have from a variety of sizes and colors to choose from: colorful, classic, or original. You choose how you want to customize your kitchen furniture based on cost.

  7. Add new furniture. This may seem like a lot of work but once tied in with the overall look of the kitchen, it just elevates it even more. There are many ways you can cut down on prices as well by sourcing it and/or buying second hand.

  8. Install open shelves. Rather than cluttering up your cupboards and pantry closet, use sections of your empty walls to install some kitchen shelves. You’ll end up gaining a ton of storage space, and can showcase fancy kitchenware or other products to your guests.

  9. Add wallpaper. Most recently wallpaper has been trending as a way to revamp a space. Guess what? It is possible in the kitchen as well. Pick something bold, classic, or fun and add it to a wall to really add a special touch to the kitchen.

  10. Switch out blinds. It doesn’t have to cost a lot to change up the window treatments. This simple yet effect window treatment can add a splash of fresh color, pattern and texture to instantly refresh a tired kitchen scheme.
